Degu Registration

By offering all degu owners and breeders free registration for their degus, Degutopia gives you the chance to actively contribute to improving the genetic health of degus worldwide. You can register all your degus here- the data you fill in on the form below will be sent to us and we will add it to a 'Degu Registration Database'. This allows us to build up a picture of the worldwide distribution of degus in captivity, and ultimately to build up a pedigree of degu lines. Breeders can request details of registered degu 'parents', helping them to avoid detrimental inbreeding, so improving the health of future degus. In recognition of your registration, you will receive a certificate confirming the unique registration number for each of your degus. This has never been attempted on such a scale before- it's your chance to make a difference!
